Tariq Chauhan recently travelled across China, visiting its major industrial hubs including Suzhou, Changzhou, Hefei, and Shenzhen, as well as historic villages and communities that remain deeply connected to the country’s heritage.
From advanced robotics facilities and technology parks to driverless vehicles and vast urban developments, the journey offered a firsthand perspective on the scale and pace of China’s transformation. At the same time, visits to the Yellow Mountains and the historic streets of Huangshan revealed a country where rapid modernisation continues alongside centuries-old traditions.
The experience offered valuable insights into how technology, automation, and process excellence are being integrated into everyday life at remarkable scale. More importantly, it served as a reminder that meaningful transformation depends not only on technology, but on the willingness to embrace change and continuously rethink what is possible.
